Wand of the Murrain Maiden

This wand has been blessed by the lady of plagues, conferring pestilence and decay to any form of life it is pointed at. While you hold it, you gain a +1 bonus to spell attack rolls and the saving throw DCs of your spells.

Contamination. While attuned to this wand, you can cast Poison Spray out to a range of 30 feet as a Magic Action. A creature that fails its save against this spell also gains the Poisoned condition until the end of your next turn. In addition, once every new dusk, you can cast Contagion out to a range of 30 feet. Both spells use your spell save DC and spellcasting ability.

Relish in Agony. While attuned to this wand, at the start of each of your turns, you gain a number of Temporary Hit Points equal to your spellcasting ability modifier for each creature that has the Poisoned condition or carries a disease within 30 feet of you.

Curse. The gifts of the Murrain Maiden come at a cost, as the voracious power that surges through the wand seeks to consume its Bearer as well. Upon ending your attunement to it, you suffer the effects of the Contagion spell (save DC 16). This spell's effects can end prematurely by attuning to the wand once again.
