Description
This greatsword's blade resembles a headstone, the very sight of which sends shivers down your spine. It feels as if it was mounted on the hilt as a warning, a rebuke to those who would deny the eternal peace of the afterlife: refuse the inevitable call of the grave, and your own headstone shall come hunting for you. You gain a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. Even though it has the shape of a greatsword, the weapon damage dealt by it on a hit is 3d6 (instead of 2d6) and its damage type is Bludgeoning.
Unwieldy. This enormous greatsword is wildly unbalanced and almost entirely made of stone, which makes it difficult to wield with deftness and precision. When making an attack using this weapon, your attack targets all creatures within its reach. Additionally, you cannot use this weapon to make Opportunity Attacks.
Sepulcher's Smite. When you hit an Undead with this weapon, it takes an extra 2d6 Radiant damage. On a Critical Hit, the Undead also becomes Stunned until the end of its next turn
Requiem for the Deathless. As a Magic Action, you can plunge this weapon into the earth and speak its command word. When doing so, each Undead creature in a 30-foot radius centered at the weapon must make a DC 18 Wisdom saving throw or suffer the effects of the Cleric's Channel Divinity feature (Turn Undead option). When an Undead of CR 1 or lower fails its saving throw against this effect, the creature is instantly destroyed. While the weapon remains plunged in this way, this effect is automatically repeated at the end of each of your subsequent turns. To pull the weapon from the earth, you must spend another Action.
Litany of Remembrance. When an Undead is destroyed or has its soul released onto the afterlife within 30 feet of this weapon, you can choose to have the name it had in life magically appear upon the blade besides the inscription that adorns it. The inscription then begins to glimmer, revealing a prayer for the dead. When that happens, the weapon gains a number of charges equal to the Undead creature's maximum amount of Hit Dice. While the inscription is glimmering, you can use a Bonus Action on your turn to utter a litany of remembrance for the departed, spending one or more of its available charges and gaining 1 Temporary Hit Point for each charge spent in this way. When the weapon's charges are depleted, the creature's name vanishes and the inscription ceases to glimmer. Only one creature's name can be upon the blade at a time, and a new one cannot appear until the charges granted by the previous have been depleted.
Graze (Mastery): If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.
Heavy: You have Disadvantage on attack rolls with a Heavy weapon if it's a Melee weapon and your Strength score isn't at least 13 or if it's a Ranged weapon and your Dexterity score isn't at least 13.
Two-Handed: A Two-Handed weapon requires two hands when you attack with it.
