Descripción
This ornate bowl can be used to commit offerings to the gods, imploring their favor and acting as a conduit between mortalkind and the divine. Once before every new dawn, you can fill this bowl with water, honey or blood to cast the Augury spell. When casting Augury in this way, depending on the omen yielded by the spell and the substance that was used to fill the bowl, the gods bestow a corresponding boon or curse, as presented in the following table:
Bowl of Divine Offering:
| Omen | Water | Honey | Blood |
| Weal | The water turns into a dose of Holy Water | Consuming a portion of honey causes the effects of Bless for 24 hours (the bowl contains 3 portions) | The creature who offered its blood gains the effects of False Life (at Level 5) |
| Woe | The water turns into a dose of Poison, Basic | Consuming a portion of honey causes the effects of Bane for 24 hours (the bowl contains 3 portions) | The creature who offered its blood is afflicted by a Level 5 curse or lower for 24 hours, determined at random amongst the effects of Bestow Curse (see Chapter III: Folklore Magic) |
| Weal and Woe | The effect is unknown; upon using the water, roll a d20. On 1 to 10, it has the effects of Weal. On 11 to 20, it has the effects of Woe | The effect is unknown; upon consuming a portion of honey, roll a d20. On 1 to 10, it has the effects of Weal. On 11 to 20, it has the effects of Woe | The creature who offered its blood gains the effects of False Life (at Level 5). When the Temporary Hit Points granted by the spell are lost, it suffers the effects of Woe |
