Descripción
You have a +1 bonus to AC while wearing this armor.
Legend has it that the gods often punish mortals for their misbehaviors by turning them into turnskin bears. While wearing this armor, you gain a +1 bonus to your Armor Class. Once every new dawn while attuned to this armor, you can take a Magic Action to change your shape into that of a Werebear. By doing so, you assume the statistics of a Werebear (as presented in the creature's stat block), except that you do not have the Handaxe attack option and that you cannot use the Shape-Shift Bonus Action to turn into a bear. If you use the Shape-Shift Bonus Action to revert to your original form, you cannot turn back into a werebear until the next dawn. This transformation otherwise works as per the Druid's Wild Shape feature.
Curse. Once you don this cursed armor, you can't doff it unless you are targeted by a Remove Curse spell or similar magic. Alternatively, if you try to remove or end your attunement to this armor, its claws dig violently into your skin, as its fur becomes suffused with your body. Make a DC 18 Strength saving throw. On a success, you remove the armor and your attunement with it ends. On a failed save, your shape turns into that of a Brown Bear. Your game statistics become replaced by those of the bear, except your Intelligence score which remains the same, and any equipment you are wearing or carrying merges into this new form. This effect lasts indefinitely, and can only be reverted through the effects of spells such as Remove Curse (at Level 6 or higher) or a Wish.
